Jeannine Bice, the gal that sold The Quacker Factory line of clothing on QVC died June 10th at age 71. Today I also heard that this little ole lady that had a little neighborhood store(The Hollywood Market) in my old neighborhood passed away Wedsnesday, June 22nd. These ladies really added something to my life. Jeannine was always up and funny when she was on QVC. I bought some cute clothes from her line too and always enjoyed seeing her. Margaret was always nice and glad to see ya. She even gave my ex and I some credit when we really needed it years back. So sad they are both gone now. I call these people touch stones. People that touch us through out our lives. And there have been many. How about you? Have there been some important people that touched your life?

There have been people that have touched my life. I guess when I think about it..there have been a bunch. Some bad..some good. Just when all hope seems to be lost..that touch stone shows up. They are few and far between but thank goodness they have come when they did..my most recent was the lady at the credit union. She really saved my tail.

Margaret was a character. Her dad had been a senator and so she was interviewed by the local press afew times. SHe became quite out spoken. She will be missed.

Definitely my mom. She is not only a touchstone, but my rock. When I think of all she has done for me and my children and how unconditional her love is, I can't imagine living without her. I just aspire to have her strength and love for those around her.
