what's better according to you reading newspapers or in discussing in mylot?

Definitely not! Mylot isn't a good source of news. Yes, there are some topics that people have directly taken from Yahoo, plagiarism, but most are just comments or opinions that don't give the full story. You still have to read the original article. Thankfully, most people give links. When a hot story comes, like the Royal wedding for instance, there will be so many posts that nearly all will be deleted as repeat posts. So once again, you wont see the full story. Newspaper reading is out of habit but online news is still a necessity.
