I went to bali, Sanur. I went with a friend and we stayed for three weeks. I am not of a wealthy home and what I experienced there was an eyeopener. These people have little to nothing and are so generous, they would give their last bread if they could. One night we had a rendez-vous witha swiss boy in his parents house, they had a lot of money and even staff running around. Got some dinner, hang around it was great fun untill he wanted us to do stuff we did not want. It was 3 am and I really wanted to go home but his chauffeur was long gone. We insisted he opened the gate and let us go. Finally after telling us he could not, he let us out. Walking in a forest with some houses in the middle of the night. Boy were we scared, barely 20 and al alone at the other side of the world. Then we saw some light, there were some balinese boys shooting pool. We asked if they could call a taxi for us. They tried but they would not come. Finally the offered to bring us home on their scooters. Our heroes, they brought us home. Even though they did not ask for anything, we were so happy to be safe we gave them 1.000.000 each. One thing to never forget of this yourney full of wonderfull things, lovely people, beautifull nature

HI! I Live in Australia- an hour south of Melbourne I went to Sydney for the first time in January to see Joan Jett in a dirty old pub It was amazing not just Joan Jett but Syndey its self the public transport was great so much better than Melbourne and it is so clean yet there were no rubbish bins anywhere on the streets I love Bondi beach - the beach its self was so deceiving as its so wide and a real hike to actually get to the water anyway I havent been many places i backpacked england and europe with contiki when i was 21, i would love to go back to england and see my family

I am not able to forget Australia. I spent ten months visiting Sydney, Adelaide, Melbourne, other places in Victoria plus the coast up New South Wales and up Queensland. Then I went to Darwin plus Kakadu National Park. I was 20 to 21 years on that which was my trip around the world. I was able to work as a children's nanny, a charity collector and a factory packer. I had a working holiday visa. I visited Western Australia when I was 28 years old. I visited much of it including Esperance, Albany, Augusta, the Pinnacles, Monkey Mia and Coral Bay. I wish to go back there with my 4 year old disables son and my 2 year old daughter. The only problem is affording the flights. It is likely I will save up to go back there. It is unlikely I will afford to go to my other favorites places which are Samoa, New Zealand, Belize and the Seychelles. Really I tend to visit places which are new to me. I rarely visit the same place twice but it has happened for Los Angeles and Singapore. Yes, not one city can compare with my favorite: Sydney. Wow!

Well as for now I have only been to Thailand and that trip was certainly one taht I will not forget for a lifetime. The place is pretty reasonable and not on the expensive side. Went to two place Bangkok and Pattaya. Bangkok is a nice place, pretty commercialised but still you can go around and have a lot of fun. shopping is very cheap out there. If you do happen to go make a trip to MBK mall. Its got everything under one roof and you can also bargain and get a good deal. On the other hand Pattaya is more for its noght life. A lot of clubbing and partys happening all over. You will never get bored. Its simply Amazing Thailand.

I've never been out of the United States. I would love to go to Australia, but kind of scared of the spiders and stuff I see on TV as poisonous. I would still love to go though and experience it. I also want to go to Hawaii, which is still within the US. I've been to NY, NH, Maine, Ohio, and Indiana and Florida... I think I like Florida the best of all the places I have been.
