Every Monday morning...

My class starts at 7am and I usually wake up at 6am. My son wakes up at 5:30. Every time he does, I do wake up to but fall back into sleep again and have a short dream. Usually that short dream is about me being late for about 15 minutes in my class. And it felt so real. The funny things is this happens to me often on a Monday morning. Probably i am too concerned of not being late or disappointing my students. IN the past i have been late two times and i couldn't tell them that i overslept so i had to make a lie. But i did make up for it because i really don't like lying to them because they trust me. So I think that's why i had this dream as it's something that i don't want to happen to me.

Maybe , your son's waking up at 5:30, is a sign that you too should be up and about at that time too. That way, you could prepare whatever things there are to prepare, prior to your going to work. That way too, you will not have to lie whenever you are late at work.

When i was working in the Uni, i was never late at all. I work at home. I do classes online. My son has to travel for 30 minutes to get to school that's why he has to get up that early. I get up an hour early before my classes but sometimes i end at midnight too that's why i get up so late as well.

Or really Kamikarin. What do she have to wake you up? Have you told her that you have to wake up the same time as her? Naughty girl.

I am hoping that there would be a lot of teachers/professors who would be very particular with their schedule. For younger students, it would be nice if the teacher would come earlier than the students so that we (the parents) would be comfortable enough to leave them. There is a possibility of accidents from the playful attitude of children if they are not attended by elders.

Yes you are right. It's so sad to know that most of the public school teachers in rural areas don't have that kind of attitude. I'm not a school teacher. I'm an ESL teacher.

That's sounds pretty weird for a dream. Maybe it's your mind and body's way of telling you and reminding you that you shouldn't be late on a Monday morning or be late for your class especially for this week. That was just a guess. Anyway, hope you have a great week ahead!
