Toilet Lid Alert...Health Tip

Gentlemen, There is now a legitimate reason for you to put that toilet seat down before you flush. Fact: When you flush the toilet with the lid up, the 'swoosh' from the flushing action cause the germs and bacteria to become air-born; landing on your toothbrush, your hair brush, the towel you dry your face on and whatever else you have sitting on your bathroom counters, like maybe a cup you drink from. Think about that. Everyone needs to put the lid DOWN. Close the toilet before flushing! Thank you. Have a healthy day...

I saw something about that on TV on one of those new invention reality shows, I believe. It sounds terrible. They were promoting some new kind of toilet with an air tight lid, which made me wonder if they weren't making the regular ones sound worse than they really are.

I didn't see this on TV. I read it in this month's Reader's Digest. It has nothing to do with the toilet seat itself. It has to do with the flush. When you flush, it causes the air to rush upward. That's when the bacteria and germs float over to your toothbrush, ect. Please share this info with everyone you know. Thank you.
