Yoga post idea?

Wow! I just joined myLot today, and I am very surprised to find that there's been no post in this interest in 5 months! I was thinking of starting a regular post of the yoga journey I'm about to start, a re-entering back into Hatha and Asthanga yoga. I was wondering if you all would think that was a good idea? I used to practice yoga fairly regularly when I was a dance major and learned a lot about it back then. However, it's been quite sometime; now, I want to get back into it for my health and mental well-being. I'm even thinking about starting a teacher training program so that I can start a career and have yoga in my life permanently! Does this sound like something you myLot yogis would want to read about?

You could start explaing here why yoga is beneficial? I heard about but to me it sound kind of hippy (60's, flowerpower), I am interested though and would like to learn more about it. Could you describe me a 'session'? What do you do and how does it benefit you, your mind and/or body? Do you have special music to do it to? Do you do it alone or in groups and in a gym or at home? Is there like a few important things that you should think of before you start? This all can be answered here, no need for opening a new discussion.
