Friends, you all know, I am on duty, will be going back home in few days. This guest house is on the top of a hill, I am the only occupant now, they have provided me with a 24 hours orderly servant, he brings food for me, but I really can’t eat those food from hotel, there is not much work either, but I have to be here, the Lecturers, some Readers and one Professor are working under my guidance. This morning I went out to the small jungle near this guest house, saw Lizards making love, next I did some online research on this, I now think courtship, dating, Love and love making is not only limited to human beings. See this picture of sand lizards by Alexey Tymoshenko, from Ukraine, who is studying engineering at university and takes photos as a hobby. The sand lizards spend a lot of time buried just below the surface of the sand, although they also enjoy basking in sunshine. Animals don't pose for photographs, so one can photograph them as they are. In this photograph, a male sand lizard, perched on top of a plant, catches the eye of a female with a beautiful bouquet of flowers he appears to be wooing his potential mate with a bunch of flowers it really looks like the male lizard is proposing and warms heart of female with a bunch of flowers. All lovers know that the course of true love never run smooth, the female loses her balance dramatically, slips and falls; one can never think that they could be so passionate and helpful to each other, when the female drops the male dives to catch her. After that she carefully climbs up the plant to reach him, she accepts his gift and the pair form an almost perfect heart shape. After that they make love and probably married. Well, I have a photograph of the bride and groom. I will post later; in this picture the happy couples are smiling as if they pose for photographer! Is not the path of true love rough? What is ‘love’ in your opinion? If a lizard has that much love for his spouse, why couples fight, why a man beats his wife, why there is divorce, separation? I don’t have any experience, my marriage was arranged by parents, no love affairs before marriage, I was married in 1966; I live my wife so much. What about you, any premarital affairs? Please respond comment on the Lizard’s love and share your views. Thanks in advance. Professor ‘*Bhuwan*’. . Cheers have a lucky day ahead.

hello again professor, it is a proven fact that more arranged marriage come out successful. it is probably because of the saying that when someone is in love.. he/she is blind. so it is better that the parents arrange who and to whom, first without the feelings. but you did not answer the last three questions. thank you for the picture. these lizards really looks happy. ann

Dear Professor, What an absolute beautiful picture to see. It does certainly depict a great deal of romance and love. Like humans it is the same stages in life, where some court, marry, enjoy marriage and life. While some simply can't handle the marriage. I married really young in my life and did not know what relationships were and or premarital affairs. I did divorce but it was for my safety and children's safety to have done so. I am not married but do have a boyfriend whom I love dearly and loves me also. Right now we are not considering marriage, though it is possible. I certainly wanted my past marriage to have worked but his circumstances did not allow for it to continue. Some men and or woman simply do not want responsibility and or no matter how much they try can't do so. Marriage as you know is a great deal of effort for this day an age it is quite easy for some to give up on and not try hard on the hard times. If only the life of humans was as easy as the loving lizards.

What a beautiful picture of the lizards. They do look as if they are in love. I think that animals have love for each other that is even more pure than humans can have for each other sometimes. After all.. look at the divorce rate! No, I never had any premarital affairs. I was 'pure' on my first marriage. That ended in about 3 years, and then I married again and it lasted about 10 years, and I am alone again. Now I prefer to just be single and work at home. I don't think about love anymore. I have love for my family and friends, but no thoughts of romantic love.
