Thunderstorming right now.

We decided that we were going to camp out in the yard afterall, but then the lightening started.
It was getting dark and I couldn't get the tent put together.
Then it started to rain and we decided not to go ahead with this.
Even though the weather forecast said nothing about a thunderstorm, there is one right now.
It's gotten hotter all of a sudden.
So now we're inside just trying to relax. Hopefully it stops soon.

It has stormed off and on for a while this evening, but I knew there was a thirty percent chance of it, so I am not surprised. I have unplugged from power to protect the computer. We have some instances that the heat has gone up after the sun has set, really wierd.

The temperature has dropped 4 degrees now, but there's still a storm going.
The weather report says the warning has ended, but it's still going and doesn't look like it's going to stop soon.
I just saw a nasty streak of lightening go across the sky.

I am sorry your camping adventure did not work out.
But,I have learned this weather forecasters got to school,go thru all this training and a lot of the times wrong.They still keep their nice jobs,make good money.
Only God decides what the actual weather will be.The weather people say the forecast,and then God changes His mind.Which He has the right to do.So,why do they call it WOMENS intuition?Ha,ha!

It poured here for a while. My husband got home from a walk just in time. He came in the door with food, and the sky just opened up. It's been hot, human, and very overcast here all day.

I hate thunderstorms! We had one the other day and I was so happy I didn't have to go outside. I did leave my floor to get some ice (I could either go to the office or to the other building but either way meant going outside). Fortunately, it seemed to cool off instead of getting hotter. Did you have a good 4th? Have a great week!!!

Awwh that could have been fun. Yes the weather forecaster often times do not accurately predict but then maybe it is clouds that suddenly shift. I am glad though that although you did not get to camp outside you and hubby are enjoying some peaceful inside time.

Here in USA weather changes very quickly. today morning (July 11) it was hot. In the afternoon suddenly it was raining. Now we have good sunshine. thank god thunderstorm or rain it has not been severe in the last three months we are here.
