Video chat on Facebook.....

I heard that Facebook will launch new video chat service on their website shortly. I think it will be better for those people who would like to know about whom they are msging or chatting with,at least they will be sure that the person with whom they are communicating is a guy or gal and also the age of that person. And i think that it will be a bad news for those ones who are there with fake profiles or fake identity. What do you all think?? Will it be better to identify fake profiles ?? Please share yours comments here..

I don't talk to strangers in my facebook and 98% of my friends there are people that i personally know. So I don't really mind much about this feature. However facebook has a third party application for this already and in face i have already tried video chatting in facebook about three months ago with my friend in Texas. I also heard about this feature to be added soon. My only concern is for the perverts out there, they will surely be happy to have this as they are no longer confined in yahoo messenger, msn or skype.

well I guess it may help to a certain degree when it comes to fake profiles but there must be something video can't help clarify and confirm only I can't think of what right now video chat only works if someone has a webcam anyway I have a facebook I use it for games and keep in touch with friends I was there at first because a friend invited me and I thought why not? not much there because I have too many things in mind lately

Yes, i also agree with you panja, this new version of video chatting will represent a 3g phone where there is a option for video call. So, i think it will be a good progress, and various people can see their own relatives staying at a long distance and is out of communication for a long time. It is the best way and you will not have to pay a lot of money for this. According to you all the frauds working on facebook will come out and various persons involved in such work will feel a little too scare for this.
