British newspaper hacks peoples cell phone voicemails

July 5, 2011 6:58pm CST
There have been some really sickening and disturbing stories in the news this week in the United Kingdom. A British newspaper called News Of The World has been hacking into peoples mobile phones and listening to their voicemails. What is truely more shocking is that the people who had their phones hacked were the parents of three schoolgirls who had been abducted and murdered, and the families of victims of the terrorist attacks in London on 7 July 2005. The families were obviously extremely distressed and urgently phoning their relatives to trace their missing loved ones, while journalists were listening in to the messages just to get some stories for their newspapers.
