Casey Anthony Trial Reaction!

Okay, all night I have been reading responses on Facebook, news websites, and actualy news shows and I must say the comments from some people are absolutely unbelievable. First of all let me say this, I find the biggest tragedy of this case is that more than likely no one will ever do any time for murdering this precious little girl. It is a shame and I find it completely disgusting that someone could do such a horrific act towards this little girl. However, while I believe this to be true I also believe in a fair trial and a right to one by a select group of your peers. As someone who plans to have a future in law, I must say I respect the decision that the jury made. I've heard all these comments about how Casey Anthony is this and that and she killed her daughter and she may have possibly done so but everyone needs to face that the prosecution didn't do their job and she in turn is allowed to be free. I think she is guilty just as I thought O.J Simpson was when his trial was going on, however the prosecution didn't do their job to show beyond a reasonable doubt she was guilty. I know people are mad and believe she is an awful person and all that, which she just may truely be, but in the eyes of the law and a group of her peers she is innocent. Just look at it from this stand point. What if she was actually innocent? What if her daughter some how just go out of the house drowned in the pool and she tried covering up because she thought she was going to get in trouble? Not saying her actions or anything like that wasn't wierd because it was and definetly makes her look guilty, but do we really know for sure? All I can say is instead of acting like you were all on the scene and witnessed the crime happen you really don't know if one was actually committed by this individual. For all we know maybe it wasn't so actually use some common sense and see it from all sides and not a narrowed minded view because a sweet innocent girl was murdered. It is tradgic for everyone and nothing will ever bring this beautiful little girl back but then again too someone shouldn't have to go to jail if they didn't actually commit the crime.

i wasn't going to comment on your post here, but then i read one line that compelled me to do so:"so actually use some common sense and see it from all sides" My reply to that is this.if that jury had used ANY common sense along with the evidence presented Casey would have been convicted of murder.A jury of her peers???? really?more like 12 individuals who took less than 11 hours to come to their decision.Which tells me they decided how they would vote, long before they went in to deliberate. How much of the evidence did they go through in this short period of time. a jury who now at least in the opinion of one of the jurists, is SICK over her vote now believing Casey committed the murder, where was her guilty vote when it would have counted? A jury who didn't have the guts to explain why they voted as they did, but have now decided that some of them will speak as long as they're COMPENSATED for their information. There was no way justice was served in that courtroom not for Casey Anthony, but especially not for the one who deserved it the most, precious little Caylee.

"Bottom line is no one saw her committ any murder" So what your implying is,that unless there is an actual witness to a crime, the jury would have no choice but to come in with a not guilty verdict. Well if this were the case we shouldn't even try to indict anyone for a crime since, and especially in murder cases not too many people go around killing others with witnesses looking over their shoulder.and there have been plenty of guilty verdicts handed down on purely circumstantial evidence and IMO and in the opinion of many who are much more qualified to give opinions on cases such as this, the prosecution gave this jury plenty to work with and that they would have handed down a guilty verdict with the evidence presented. Juries have made mistakes in the past (aka O.J Simpson)why should this jury be any different?
