I live in the south (the American South), in North Carolina, and the weather has a tendency to be quite random, especially in the summer. We have 90-100 degree days quite often, but they are always sandwiched between rain and thunderstorms. Today, it was hot and sunny until about 1:00 pm, and quickly shifted to cloudy with some light thunder here and there and I even saw some lightening off in the distance. It never progressed into a full storm, however. Perhaps it was off in an area nearby and moved on in some other direction. It turned hot, alternating with cloudy, again a few hours later. One spring back in 2007, I remember having a nice warm and sunny (but not hot) day, followed by a day of freezing rain, followed by a blustery (but not rainy) and still freezing day. Needless to say, my state is pretty notorious for its random weather. So many people think the south is hot, but where I live, that is really only true in the summer. I am just glad I am not back in New Orleans where just opening the door makes you sweat like crazy!

The weather here is changingso fast, day to day, and even hour to hour. The winter had been pretty long too, heavy snow, blizzards. When the summer finally arrived, we are having heavy rains often. Yeah, it must be very hot there in India at this time of the year.

When I was a child weather patterns in my home country were normal like cool in spring, hot in summer, cold in autumn and freezing in winter. Nowadays the winter is more mild, the hot weather can happen at anytime or not at all in spring and summer. Like this year April was baking hot and now we are in July it is cool and rainy. It was my birthday earlier this week and I had a hot day on the Dorset Coast. Right now there is heavy rain outside. The temperature isn't too warm and is more like how it is meant to be in April. Often August has cool temperatures and I say blink and completely miss the summer. September is autumn and it still has the fallen leaves. I hate it when the weather is so changeable. I like a steady hot or a constant warm. When I want to do gardening I need dry weather not all this rain.

You can't understand the weather now in the Philippines. It will rain for 5 mins ,the sun will shine,it will be cloudy and it will be too hot again and the suddenly the rain will pour too hard for less than 1 hour. It's so devastating because you can't really plan what you want to do for that day.

It is very hot here where I live and the humidity is really bad,so it makes it hard to be outside for very long periods of time but have to be out in it to get chores done.I hope it cools down for you.Have a great day.
