If Planet Earth Is About To Die

Recently, there was a news brought up by a cult saying they have had a prediction that the end of the world is near. Posters, banners, adds on tv, radio and a lot more ways to spread the news were exhausted by this group of people. "It's time to repent, the end is near!" But NO it's NOT! Hahaha! LOL! - That was my reaction the first time I heard the news. I honestly thought they're crazy people specially the leader of that religious group. The said date and time has passed and nothing happened. Everyone still standing, breathing and kicking (they said they misunderstood the prediction, it's gonna be in October 2011 instead. LOL). Now that news and its issue is over, I asked myself, what if it was true? What am I going to do if our planet earth is about to come to its end? Like the movie 2012. I think all I will do is the best I can do - close my eyes, kneel, and pray with the people I love, my family.
Will you strive to survive? or will you accept your faith and save your energy for your journey way up to heaven?

it depend... when that time come did i already success on building an anti-gravity spacecraft which have the speed near the speed of light or not.... if i already did then i will go jump on my spacecraft and leave the planet, but if i'm not succeed then i just grab a can of coke, drink a bit and go to sleep...

it's funny how people respond to your question with answer like 'no one know when it's gonna happen' while your question really is a 'hypothetical question' of what you will do when you do know it...

I honestly tend to ignore any of these news stories. They are just trying to get people to view the story. I mean sure there is a chance that the world is going to end but it isn't going to be anytime soon. I really hope that these companies will stop publishing these stories and make the public believe it.

You know why I didn't believe those people of that cult who announced the end of the world? Because I'm a Christian and Bible doesn't say anything like that. Even God did not declare an exact date and time when the world will end. Those cult are just trying to get some attention. Anyway, it was just a thought I've had the last time I was alone. :)

We really shouldn't be pondering over too much as to when the world is going to end. I know that they are entitled to their own belief. But let us give ourselves the opportunity to just live well and happy while God is still providing us with all of the things in this world has to offer to life. I believe that there is no one in this whole wide world can tell that the world is ending soon. Worrying about what these people think only disrupts our worthwhile way of living. Let us just move an live our lives well and be grateful of the life God bestowed on us.

I don't believe in organized religion. People have their beliefs and thats great. I try not to do anything I would have to repent for. I pray though and pray for my son to be a good man and if there is a heaven and God then forgive me for anything I may have done wrong. If the world ends then it ends. I think it's just time for weather shifts and nothing is forever.

I believe all of that is all not real. There is no sence in trying to predict when the world is going to end because it is all in gods hands and he is the only one that knows. Anybody could get on the news and make a prediction and become famous for a short period of time which is what some people do. It is stupid in my opinion and should be left alone.

Only God knows when the world is about to end, and HE certainly will not make a big announcement in the sky such as "World ends Tomorrow! (or ten days from now) , So Prepare!" Why not even Jesus Christ, the Son of God knows and HE is also put of the Holy Trinity. Those religious leaders are the kind that Christ said, "Go here " or "Go there," and one should not listen to them. They are sent from the devil to lure Christians away from the Truth and make non believers stay non believers. TGhjat is, people who are non believers hear about these false prophets and think that all Christians are like that.
So the best thing is to trust in God and have faith, and when the end comes if it is in our lifetime, you will not have time to do anything. It will be instantaneous.

Lots of people have said this... Y2K came and passed didn't it? What could be different about these predictions? especially when they're done by some strange cult with no knowledge about it. If the world is going to end, it wouldn't be them that tells us first, it would be some environmentalist or something :P Or they would keep it a secret until the last minute and build a ship to sail to safety while they let us die, lol. That's just my opinion.
