hello again, myLotters! there is an ongoing project on the production floor and one of my friends participated on it and now he needs help. haha :) we need new brainwave ideas or suggestions on how to conserve energy (mostly electricity from working PCs), increase workers' productivity, and some other earth-saving strategies. any suggestion?

I think one can conserve the energy by putting the machines off when they are not in use. I use a Laptop and I charge it before I use it. I then fully discharge it first and then again I charge it for further use. There are people who don't understand the importance of the energy saving but there are also others like you and me who understand this. I am happy that you are doing this.

that's a nice suggestion sanjay. i noticed that even when some agents are out of the office (either on leave or bec of absence), their computers are still turned on. im also using a laptop at home. whenever the power below 10% thats the only time i re-charge it until i finish using it.. i realized now that sometimes im using the laptop for more than 5 hours a day, while it being battery-charged... how long does it normally take to have it fully charged though? do you think its better to watch out until its gets 100% charged then unplug the charger? or keep it going until im done? thanks for your response

Hello katzar0712, There are many ways you can achieve theses some of the things are: - Monitor workers time if they come & start their work at the time they are supposed to do. - training is always the thing by which you can increase a skill of a worker and can increase productivity. - monitor the reason of line breakage and analyse those and try to eliminate them. - motivation is always helpful to increase productivity. - Do time study of process and eliminate or reduce idle time and set targets. To save energy always try to put off machines when not in use. Periodic maintenance of machines should not be skipped as sometimes machines consume electricity more than it should. Though these are very few points which i mentioned but these are always helpful when your are in a industry.I think you will find them useful.
