Having an ambition in your life makes your living healthy. Because you know where you're going to. But in your situation, to keep your dreams alive you should have the courage/persistence to pursue them. It's not that easy, yes. But to try to reach it is not impossible either. Live in what you believe in. You'll never know, you'll be the greatest lecturer one has ever known. Believe in yourself. And always believe that DESTINY will always find you. Listen to your heart. It will tell you and guide you on your path. Good luck in what you do devinim.:-)

For me no it is not because ambitions is always there as long as you can't achieve it.

Hi there Devinim! Congratulations! Yes, It has happened to me before. I wanted to be a journalist but my relatives convinced me to do otherwise. They said that journalists get low pay compared to the hazards of their work. I studied to be a teacher instead but I don't really regret my choice. It was my second choice and I also wanted to be a teacher when I was a child.

I shifted from two different courses during college, from manufacturing engineering to civil engineering to psychology, and I do understand what you're feeling. Though I wanted to be an engineer, it takes so much hard work and I just don't have that patience. Luckily, I feel more at home at psychology now. :)

hello, first of all if you really want to achieve what you wanted in life, you must not give up and let any other small things get in your way. its normal to be lazy, but hey you need to toughen yourself and get reminding yourself about your goal. i am currently a second year students in a local university taking degree, i sometimes may feel lazy to study or do my assignment, but i keep telling myself i am here for a reason and nothing can stop me. so, my advise is dont let anything stop you form achieving what you wanted in life
