My son is 5 and his sister got to spend the night at her friends house and his little friend got to stay here. I have to say it went well. They didnt go to sleep till close to 10, but they had a great time. I fixed them breakfast and their off playing again. I must say boy sleep overs are much easier than girls. When my daughter had a friend spend the night they were laughing and talking almost all night and her little friend was a bit hyper. I remember sleep overs when I was younger. Slumber partys were so much fun.

I remembered our house being full of my sister's friends when I was young. We all enjoyed when they were sleeping there as we had all the fun in the world. My parents loved inviting people in our house to sleep. So every summer vacation was so full of people but I really enjoyed it a lot. During day time all my cousins would be in our parents room including us and we would just watch tv the whole day in my parents king-sized water bed. There were like ten people in the bed. My son is only 7 and he hasn't experienced sleeping over yet. Maybe someday when he's in his teens we would have guests at home too.

I remember getting lice from a sleepover once after that my Mom didnt allow sleep overs anymore. I understand why she did that... I had long hair then and we didnt use any special shampoo so she had sit down with me everyday to comb my hair with a lice comb... Grrr... that was a stage of my life I wouldnt want to go back to.

Hi. tink91879. That is very wonderful! I am very glad that you son has enjoyed himself. I am sure that him and his friend had so much of fun together too. The last time that I had a sleepover was when I was a preteen and it was with my cousin's other cousin. She was a female. Me and my cousins and her, all had fun together. Well. at that time we did. Now this same young woman will hardly ever talk to me now, because she is ashamed at something foul that I have found of hers. I wished that she could understand that I am not even thinking about this at all. I am past her embarrassing moment. I am glad that your son's sleepover went well. This is a great idea to do during the summer time, I am sure.

Your story is so cute. I's good to know that everything went well. I remember when a friend first slept over our house. It was the best. My friend and I kept talking and laughing the whole night. I know what you mean when you said that boy sleepovers are easier than the girls. :)
