It all ends in 4 days...

In much anticipation for the 8th and final film of the Harry Potter series, I'm totally torn because for one I am so excited to watch it and then hate the feeling that I'm not ever gonna see another potter film in the cinemas. Well, unless J.K Rowling is planning to make another Potter series. But anyway, I know the film is gonna rock and I know huge fans of the film are gonna be depressed. Harry Potter is the best series I've seen in the movies ever. :-)

Hi, I think this movie is going to rock because it the end anyone would love to watch it. It is successful till today and I am sure it will be a big success this time. I think J.K. Rowling will come up with some new series, but I don't expect anything from anyone because expectations reduces joy. Let's wait and watch. Have a good day.

Noooooooooooooooooo I'm not ready for it to be overrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!! Hehe Yeah, I'm excited to see how they end it, how they play out the final battle but SOOOOOOOOO not ready for it to be over. I think because it has been such a big part of so many people's lives. I mean.... I was 21 when the first movie came out so I've watched the kids grow up...not quite like a parent, I'm still a little young for that but aunt? And some of my friends are young enough to have grown up alongside these kids. It's definitely emotional.

I agree with you! Its definitely bittersweet - I'm really excited to see what they do with the movie and I've really enjoyed watching all the movies. Harry Potter has actually been a huge part of my life, a big portion of the life that I can remember in any case! I also think Harry Potter was the best series, both in movies and in books. Hopefully JK Rowling will write something else one day that is just as good!

Harry Potter has basically been my life for many, many years. The series and its characters got me through some rough times and helped me to discover the author in me through fan fiction. I already wept upon watching the trailers for the first of the two Deathly Hallows movies, so I know that this last one is going to take a lot out of me. That being said, I'm still very excited to see it because the trailers look lovely. I can tell that the filmmakers went all-out on the last movie! However, it bothers me a bit to see that much of what is in the trailers does not seem to be very accurate--that is, a lot of the things that seem to happen did not happen in the book series. I understand that some things must be changed in order to make the films more interesting and help those who have not read the books understand what is happening, but I often reminisce about the first two or three movies, where the only real errors were omissions (and even then, they only really took out the parts of the books that did little or nothing to move the plot along). It seems that there is a correlation between how far you advance in the film series and how inaccurate things are! In any case, I bought my ticket weeks ago and am anxiously waiting to attend the two-day party that my friends have organized in celebration of this big event.
