Keeping your family close...

I have always loved watching movies about families.. But for real, how do you keep your family close? when we were kids we used to have Saturday game nights, Basketball game on Sundays. But now it's all gone... Gone to the fact that my dad doesn't even call me anymore and asking how I'm doing. Our relationship has gone bitter. He changed a lot and I'm pretty sure I did too. But sometimes I still dream of those days when we were all happy with my brother and my 2 sisters along with my mom and dad. I hated the thought that my dad's forgotten our family 'coz he's always talking about money. He puts it first than us. :-( I hope that somehow he'll remember our fun days together. 'Coz I'm starting to lose hope. Though me, my siblings and my mom are pretty close 'till now but I really, really do miss him. T_T

Try planning on being together every time you have the chance, like during Christmas. The fact that everyone change because of time, lack of time and communication, but surely every one in your family wants everything to happen again. Try talking to your dad, if you dont get him plan something for you dad. surprise him, make him feel that you needed him, that you love him so much. Christmas is the best time.

do not worry my friend be happy. people changed but the thing is we should adopt to the changes unless it will make us suffer.
