Today as i was waiting for my student, who happened to be absent i listened to the song by Bruno Mars. Then I suddenly felt like I really do feel lazy today and I don't feel like doing anything at all.
I'm not encouraging you to be lazy though, but I'm working 10 hours a day on weekdays and working on weekends as well. So i think i deserve a break today and just call in sick. Oh, send emails to my students that i'm sick! Half-truth, and not completely a lie, because my throat really hurts like there's a wound inside it so I'd better give it a rest. 
Today I don't feel like doing anything....(as the song goes, but i'm just singing in my head coz the throat hurts!)

well i do feel lazy today, just got back from a work travel..but i cannot get myself to absent.. need to show up for a meeting! oh well!

I think if you don't feel like working then you should not go for it. Because it is good to rest a while sometimes. It will refresh your mind and body.
Maybe the song is fast and active but because you are tired so you feel that song is lazy.. Have a good rest and a good day.

The song doesn't make me feel lazy at all, the lyrics just gave me the idea that i should stay in bed not doing anything the whole day. I could even dance to the song.

You already danced the song by not going to work.
You said the lyrics are like that and you enjoyed the song. I think it will be having the lyrics which tell you to enjoy in life for a while. It is our right to rest for a while.

what a coincidence! lol
i had a very busy week so i opted to take a rest today by not doing much. i still did a little work but i was able to do a bit of mylot too. something i couldn't do for over a week because of travels and seminars i've attended and given. and today i needed a break so i informed our head office not to give me any schedule in the metro at least for today.

for your sore throat, you can gargle with lukewarm water and salt solution. you can also drink lemon or calansi juice with no added sugar or lots of mineralized/alkaline water.

It isn't an ordinary sore throat though. It has something to do with using my vocal chords to much and i'm afraid it might cause some thyroid problem. I need to see a doctor soon.

Rest ,as this is the only way to give up the tireness and get re energised so that we can work more .That is the only thing which can make us forget everything for a time.Rest and sleep without doing anything as the system will no more be with us to do anything rather than taking rest.

i also like that song and everytime i felt bored i just listen to the song but it doesn't mean i'll be lazy doing nothing all day. i also worked 10 hours a day in a week but everytime i have an off duty i just like to lay on my bed, listening to music until i sleep and usually i slept 12 hours or more i don't eat my breakfast and lunch and no one will wake me up coz i don't want to do anything the moment i'm on off duty

Hi! Don't you think its a great feeling to just relax for a change? I also work really hard during the term but during the holidays I think I deserve to just do nothing sometimes! Doing nothing can be great as long as its only in moderation, you shouldn't lie around and be lazy ALL the time!!

As i've said i work during the weekends and that includes the holidays as well. I don't even rest on a holiday!

and yes I have had those days too. I don't work but school can be really overwhelming at times. The exams, presentations, coursework, projectss godddd!!! Somedays I open my eyes and feel like it just isn't my day. I tell mom I don't wanna go to school coz I have a headache or tummy ache. SOmetimes she does believe me and tell me to rest but somedays I just have to drag myself to school coz what I said wasn't convincing enough!!

Indeed, sometimes one needs a little rest.
However, one day is not fatal for everyone to afford it.
But Bruno Mars song is great and I like it very much and was lazy and obvious to you as you work.

It's but just natural to feel lazy at times. But please don't over do it! It really is my theme song every Sunday or during the holidays. Pretty much a catchy song with likable lyrics! I especially love this during this rainy season in here! Gloomy and cold weather really wants to make you sing that song and stay on bed!

That's ok.How about listen to heavy metal for a whole day?I really hurt my ear and mouth.I promise that I won't do it again.And now my hearing ability is slightly damaged.
