Friend's list in alphabetical order

Nowadays i am trying to look at my friend's list in mylot and turning on and off notifications of those interests equate with mine. There are friends that i don't want to be notified by their discussions because i just couldn't seem to relate at all. But i find it difficult to find the names since they are not in alphabetical order and i have lots of them. 
Is there a way to adjust them in alphabetical order?

In fact I am also facing the same problem. Friends names are coming in terms of enrolling as friend. recent ones appear first. Now I saw a suggestion given by HWG and implemented it. I got all names staring with numbers first followed by alphabetical order. excellent. thanks to tonig and HWG
