When there are tough times ahead and bad things happen, they all come together.

There is such a saying in my country and I do strongly believe it happens to everyone. Now it is such a time for me and my family. My husband is suffering from high sugar and we are trying to bring it down to normal, I am eight and a half months pregnant with my second child and finding it more and more difficult to take care of my daughter. Now with the medical and school expenses skyrocketing, we got another bad news three days back. My husband was asked to quit the company at a very short notice and he does not have another job at hand. He is desperately looking for another job for the past two days and we are worried about the delivery expenses on top of all other commitments every month. I guess if he is serving his notice period, he will not get mediclaim and we cannot claim delivery expenses at his office. We will have to bear that as well. We will have to dip into our savings and that will last only for about four months. What a situation to be in! And as he is the sole breadwinner of the family, it is going to be difficult for us to manage till he finds another suitable job here. Otherwise he will have to go out of station for his job and I will be left alone again at this stage or later when the baby is born. I will have to take care of both of them alone and that worries me. Cannot shift with him too to another city as my daughter has started school and I have to stay here till April of next year till the academic year comes to an end. Am praying to God to give us the strength to bear this and come out of it as quickly as possible.

Hi Devi...We have a saying and I'm sure you must know it...every cloud has a silver lining. Think of anything positive about this situation and concentrate on that. You will soon have a new child to love, your husband will get a better job. Let's face it, his workplace treated him (and you, his family) shamefully. Why would anyone want to work for such a dreadful company? Everyone experiences changes throughout life. The more challenges, the more excitement. Without change, life becomes very dull. Cheer up, don't worry.

hello there devijay ever heard of the saying, "when it rains, it pours" - im sure you have? what i can tell you though is that, no matter how life seems to knock you down, make sure not to lose faith. there are tough times and there are some more tougher times. but life is a cycle. God will not allow you to be stuck in that phase. who knows, at this point, God is already creating a good fortune or blessings for you and your family. keep up your faith, friend. I'll include you in my prayers.

hello devi, When it rains,it pours and we cannot stopped it. When it's summer,it's hot and we can't also stopped it. Everything happens for a reason dear. Let's hope everything will be fine soon. I know you are worried and we cannot do anything to help you at this moment, but to give you some inspiration and to lift your spirit the best that we could. God never miss a second when we asks for help, and I am sure God has purpose and good plans for you and your family

We all have tests God provided just for us. He gave you this one for you to overcome it because He is sure enough of your capability to overcome such adversities. Just pray to Him to give you the strength that you need and I'm sure He'll give you what you need.

Hi. Thanks so much for those words of encouragement. All is well now with my husband landing a good job and me giving birth to my baby without any problems. God really did give me the strength to overcome all those adversities. And I keep thanking him for the blessings too.

When it rains it pours. I am also in a situation like yours but I am trying my best to treat it as a test that I have to past as a mother and a wife. Do not worry too much since it may affect the baby in your womb. Think positive. Everything will be fine and you will pass this trial in your life. If there are rainy days, there are sunny days afterwards.

I strongly believe you will get out of this situation pretty soon. Just have faith on the opposite of the saying, which has to say, when there are good times ahead and good things happen, they all come together. In our ancient times, it had been said that good times and bad times are always in circles. We cannot expect any of them to stay forever. Believe me, everything's going to be alright.

Hey, thanks for the reply and I am very sorry for replying so late. My son was born few days ago and now am back home. We did go through some difficult times. But now, my husband has got a good job in the same city and he will be joining the new company in the first week of Sept. I am quite relieved now and am thanking god that I did not have to experience the agony of my husband not having a job and an income.
