preparations on christmas

It is now December and Christmas is only 22 days away. I have bought all my Christmas presents except for our son, but will talk to him about that when he returns from overseas next weekend. We will be having cold meat, including seafood, and salad for the main course and then fruit salad for dessert. In Australia it is hot at Christmas because we are into summer, which is why we elect to have something cold to eat. The fruit and vegetables as well as the cold meat and seafood have been ordered, but will not be collected until Christmas Eve. The decorations have been hung up but the tree will not be put up till next week. We will go to midnight Mass on Christmas Eve as a family. Are all your preparations for Christmas ready?
