I just realized this about my cats

Kitty at the Nursing Home - Here is a good picture to show Kitty's size. She really is much smaller than I thought she was considering she is full grown and about 4 to 5 years old.

I previously did a discussion to show a cat that lives at a nursing home. My husband and I went there tonight to have dinner with his mother. Kitty was there laying on an outside swing. There is a wonderful porch for the elderly to sit out in and Kitty is usually always found there. I took her treats tonight. I always try to keep a few in my purse for her when we go. But what I realized tonight is how small she is. She is fully grown and has lived at the home the whole time hubbys mother has been there. She come and sat in my lap, and I had lap left. So she really is a smaller size cat. Tink however my almost siamese kitty is long and sleek. When he comes to lay on my lap he fills it and is actually bigger than my lap. I had not paid attention to that before until she crawled in my lap just how tiny she is. Then I have Mawmaw my black and white kitty. She just looks out of proportion everywhere LOL She has a shorter tail and a smaller head and her body seems larger. She too can curl up in my lap and still have a little room left. Have you noticed if you own more than one cat how much different in sizes they are? I just really noticed this tonight holding Kitty at the home.

You get used to the different sizes of your cats. Then when you hold a different one, you notice the difference in size. My Kitty was very feminine and it sounds like your Kitty is also. Being small just makes them seem more adorable.

Seeing Kitty lay in my lap and then come home to Tink and see half of him off my lap although he curls up in my lap and tries to fit! If I am cross stitching or reading a book, he tries to knock everything out of my hands he is so spoilt!

I have all sizes of cats. Booboo is the biggest, he stands nearly as tall as my 25 pound dog, but he isn't as long or wide... Daisy is currently the smallest, but she still has another year to fill out into her full adult form, however, it looks like she'll stay smallish. Flower is 3 and still quite small too, but she makes up for it with a big attitude, until she starts sucking on Booboo's chest... Sparky isn't too big, but he really does have a bit more growing to do, he's right about a year, but he's not quite got his proportions right...
