I like a girl, I'm quite shy to approach her. How can I?

I like a girl from a first semester of my college. She is in another stream from mine. I unable to approach at her because we don't have a same topic to talk. I also know that if interaction will get start I feel no more shy to her. I don't know the reason that i feel shy & unable to approach her. I need a way to start interacting with her.

All you really have to do is start talking to her. You don't really need to plan everything you're gonna talk about. A simple "hey" can be an icebreaker already, start with that.

Write a letter to her or transfer the letter to her via your good friend. Also you can tell her directly. You can make it, gentleman.

wow i know what you must be going through. i would be the same if i were you. my face would turn red and i might just melt there

I think the best thing to do would be to make friends with her friends and then you'll have someone to talk about
