To be a kid again

It really is one of the most golden times of our life. You look at children of today and they are going on for the most part without too many cares in the world. They can gather enjoyment out of life and make the best out of a lot of situations, where many of us adults tend to really fall flat. It was a more innocent time. Funny in many ways, that when we got to a certain point, as children, we wanted to grow up, but for a lot of us, there are days where we almost long for the simplicity of childhood.

Children have an easy time in life in my home country. They have enough toys and books to look at and play with. They have got a roof over their heads, food and drink and loving care from their parents. They have lovely and educational times at school. Childhood is a special time in the life and we can't go back to it. We have to move forwards at our current age. Yes, to be a kid again would be delightful.

That is a part of life, good thing on many days. Sad thing on many other ways. We want to move forward to the next step. Yet there are times where we tend to look back on what was. It is really a precious era of a person's life in many way. A time where the concerns in the world were not staring us in the face. In my childhood I had my dreams which came with me into my adult life. These were to travel and when I was a child my family went on trips to France. I loved playing with my dolls when I was a child. Now I have costume dolls from around the world and porcelain dolls too. Have a lovely day.

I am one of those who long for the simplicity of childhood. That's why i like spending time with my son and playing games with him as well rather than go out with my friends. I longed for the moment when i had less problems and less complications. It was just all about games and having fun and the smile on my face was genuine and the laughter was never ending.

I do agree that it is rather more genuine. A lot of the times, with an adult life and with adult problems, any happiness tends to be forced. Now granted there are some good days along with the bad days. However there are a lot of things that I have learned as an adult and have experienced, that I have to think twice about whether I had wanted to know them or not. As a child, there is much innocence and it is lost to extent later on. Thanks for responding. Its appreciated. Have a nice day.

The world is children is wonder and awe. Also innocence of how the world truthfully works and the harsh nature of the world. Sadly it all ends at some point and I'm sure many embrace it, but in hindsight they rather wish for it to return rather. That innocence is never properly recaptured in the harsh realm of becoming an adult. Thanks for responding. Its appreciated. Have a nice day.

Childhood is the best or the golden period in one's life.As children we feel adults are more in control over their lives and have freedom of choice.But when the same child turns into an adult he realises that it isn't all about freedom but responsibility and hard work.When as adults we ponder over our lives we realise that the innocence and carefree days of childhood were the best.Its best we retain childlike qualities but not be immature as this helps us to have a zest for life.Hope you have a great day.

That is so true. Obviously we think that adults have the power and freedom to do what they please due to our limited childhood view. However, when we turn into adults, there is a harsh reality that just slaps us right in the face. As adults, we seldom do have as much control as we like and to take control, it is not an easy thing. Hopefully some things as a child will be also amusing as adults, but there comes a time for serious and to have fun and those who have the proper maturity will understand when that is. When I remember the time I was a kid and the fun I had with my friends and my family member as at that time I sort of marvel and feel so happy. I so long for that day to come back. But it can not come back again. It is gone for good. I am just a human I can not turn back the hand of the time or turn back the clock . Life has put us in such a way that we must continue to grow with each second, minute and hours and days and years. However, I thank the almight God for everything about my past, this moment and the future that is coming my way.
I have had a lot of regrets and ups and down in my life about the things I have done to myself and to others in the time past. But I am prepared to change for the good and to correct all my mistakes of the past.
Thankfully, I am happy to live the life of an adult and I will not solicit for anything less or say that I want to be a child again. I will just hope to be a happy adult.

I think that is really the best we can hope for. To be happy and healthy as an adult, as there is no going back a lot of the time. Still the lessons that we learned in the past are leading to a great present and will hopefully lead to a wondrous future. It has allowed us to grow up.
