I think Norton is one of the best anti-virus systems around. I used AOL in the beginning of my experience online and I was hacked into several times. I would wake up and go online to check my emails and find a notice from AOL saying I was in trouble because I had over used my account for spam. I was shocked. While I was sleeping someone had hacked in. I got free McAfee virus support then. It took me getting a real bad virus that wrapped around files and was really hard to get rid of to find out about Norton and get it. It isn't free as many are but it is the best I think. I certainly hope you get one of those viruses. Ugh!

I had nortons before and my computer was a mess. It would lock up all the time and not work right. I changed to KAV but I think it is not updating now. Is this possible? Can it stop to update. I see it says I still have time on the program. Do I have to run a scan on this comptuer. I see here it says scan now?
