The incidence really pained me.

A recent incidence pained me too much. I know a family from my student life. They were a perfectly happy family comprising of parents and two sons. Now after the death of the widow mother the two sons are at daggers drawn with each other over the possession of the parental property. What could be settled amicably in a peaceful way is now under the jurisdiction of the court. What an irony of fate it is? What is your opinion about it? Have you any such experience in your own life? If yes, would you be kind enough to share it with us in this forum of mylot?

I personally have not experienced this directly in my own family and or friends. But I have heard several times from others who have acquaintances that have undergone such issues. If only people would take a second to re-think their actions all could be avoided. Many allow pride and or anger to kick in first causing so much pain and or ruckus that police must intervene. Sad as family is suppose to care for one another and not inflict pain.

What doctordididi is explaining is that she knows friends from back in school days who appeared to be in a loving family environment. Then the mother passed away and the children, who are adults now began to fight violently with knives for the material possessions. Sadly they could have shared the items and or allowed the court to decide who should get what, but instead chose to violently fight one another over them. Doctordidi is sad and hurting because it is inappropriate for human beings to behave this way over material things that if the mother was alive should would be hurt with their actions. So Doctordidi is asking if we also have had this type of experience in our own families and or circle of friends.

Hi surekharathi, I cannot make out what are you saying because on the one hand you have commented that 'Friend I am understanding what Dr. didi is saying' and again you have commented that 'please explain it'. So, I am myself in a fix about your condition over the incidence I have mentioned. But I believe you have now understood clearly from the explanation made by 'hardworkinggurl'.

Its sad to read such horrid stories. People lose all their senses for the sake of money and property.I know money is important but relationships are even more important. How can people forget their past when they all lived together with love and affection as brothers and sisters and now fight for something which is not permanent?People need to be given good spiritual basis to handle such situations

I also believe that people, obviously not all, lose all their senses for the sake of money and property and become absolutely stupid. So. they invite unnecessary troubles in life and waste both money and energy as well as valuable time without any valid or justified reasons.

Hello, I have not any experience of it and I don't like to face this situation in my life. These people who went to court to settelment of their issue not aware with the working pattern of courts. Their whole life may be spend in attending courts.

I do not expereince something like this, but if they were brother they should share their parental property properly and fairly. What a greed that crept into these two brothers to end up in court. Sooner or later, they will realise that their money will be sucked up by legal fees and charges and the lawyers will leave them frowning and the lawyers laughing. It is a very stupid thing to do that as a brother.

This is a thing which I will never understand, why do people fight for their parent's legacy? Brothers acting like enemies and fighting for material goods, despite having a happy childhood together. I see this all the time, and there are occasions where it end with murder. I hope that I will never do this, and the wealth will be equally divided between me and my brother when the time will come.
