Handling Stress

Recently my friends life has been hectic to say the least. He is working a full day job starting at 7am and ending at 5pm(1 hour traffic to add each way ontop of that), comes home to start studying for college and still needs to cook and clean. I have no idea how they manage to do this as the stress and worries must be eating them up inside. This got me thinking, how do I cope with stress. Well for one I have a cup of coffee and take a nice long walk in the evenings to clear my mind and get some fresh air. How do you cope with stress?

Nice fresh calomine tea is better. A walk in the evening. A nice warm bath if I am still not able to sleep. Sleep is very important. Figure out what the stresses are helps alot. Eliviate them. Sleep sooths the savage stress. I actually don't handle stress well at all. I have several depression with panic attacks. I have to be very careful what situations I let myself get into.

Tea is a great way to relax but what do you do if you can't avoid the stress as its your life?

You find things to occupy yourself. You do the best you can. Be sure you are eating well with plenty of B Complex. You get away from the stress as much as possible. Know the stresser and avoid them as much as you can.

I usually have my works scheduled ahead of time and I have my break in between my works. :)

I was depressed and clinically tested. Two things I do, I watch Tv especially commedy and follow my favourite sport. Second I would meet with freinds and joke and I laugh my guts out. Laughing was my medicine of depression. If I had n ot laughed and were a serious person, I would be in heaven watch this beautiful land. Have freinds aorund you and freinds who know of your stress and help by be there for you, tell stroies and be with them. SOmetimes, depression will attack you in the night, therefore, make sure you stay till late and when you go to bed, you are gone.

I agree 100% with you that laughter is key but you know at times with so much stress its not always easy. I am glad you found a way to channel the stress and keep on living.

yes, Depression gets toll of people when they are lonely. Keeping company, talking and getting a laugh is a good cure.
