my nephew - a little brother of mine

i have three older brothers and 1 eldest sister. i'm the youngest from the five. since i was young, i wanted to have a younger brother or sister so that i can take care of him and treat me as her/his big sis. but since i'm the youngest, i didn't experience that until my sister had her first baby name Ozweego. cute name isn't it? hehe. back when i was just a small kid, my sister and i usually go out together. she treats me to restaurants, buy me stuffs that i wanted and cared for me too much. she's my idol and i admire her for showing me how special i was to her. i really appreciate the love she has for me. until she got pregnant. at first i was very jealous because that will mean that the attention she has for me will not be there anymore and will be directed to her baby soon. i didn't mind at all but by the time that she had her cesarean section and her baby was already delivered, i rushed to the hospital. i was a 3rd year high school back then. i remembered the time when i was about to open the door to her room where she was admitted. i took a deep breath and twisted the knob. and there, i saw her, my mom and her baby. i went to her and hug her. after which, i went near the baby and i didn't notice that i was already teary eyed. i looked at my sister and said, "don't cry sis, you'll always be my baby, though you'll be the eldest now because you've got a little brother now" then she hug me. i burst into tears. i was so touch that at what she said.. as time pass, i grew and the baby grew. and now that he's already 5 years old, i show him that i really love him. i realized that even if i will not ever get that attention that my sister had for me before, now it's my time to show my love and care through my nephew.. even if he's so naughty and he always irritates me at some point, i still love this little man and promise to make him a good person that people will admire when he grows old.. and what's so sweet is that, he always say to me that i will always be his favorite aunt.. =)
