I am not sure about your city , but my city is getting hotter and hotter every year.Well, when compare to those cities in Africa and those cities in the middle east, my city still much better.Summer is here and the sun is truly burning and everybody under the sun is facing high temperature, hot wind (if there is any)and hot air as well. Some people may want to have a coke to cool it down and the other will stay inside and enjoy cool air from the air conditioning system within the shopping mall. What about you ?

When the weather is always hot, there's nothing i can do but to get used to it. The more we try to cool ourself down with more air-conditioning, the worse it's going to be. Climate changes is because of all the pollution and air-conditioners we are using. IF we want a cooler weather, face it and don't hide from it. Once used to the hot weather, our body will adjust itself, making us feel cool in that weather.

earth - I like Singapore and it is one of the place where I like to visit all the times.
Hey, I like the weather in your country even when it is hot.Mmmmm....Singapore? I like it. Especially the food are extremely well. I think Singapore is not that hot when compare to other countries. But I really enjoy travel to this country and walk around in this city. At least it is better than where I am staying right now.The people in your country is nice and hard working people as well. If I have another opportunity to travel, Singapore will always be one of my choice.

This is the first time I've felt heat like this in a loooooong time. What's so bad is that I just moved (in March) to this second floor apartment. It is very hot up here. Before this week, sometimes it was hotter in here than outside!!! One reason is because this is an old building and they didn't take good care of it. So I've been battling wasps and hornets all spring and summer which means that I can't open the windows. I'm lucky that I worked in housing at the amusement park and I was able to keep all the fans I found. So now I have seven fans (including a big one my grandmother used to have in the sixties and a small water spray fan.) I have screen windows in my bedroom and bathroom (new windows) and I have a fan in them. But even with all the fans, it's very warm up here and I'm sweating right now. I drink lots of water, Gator Aid, and Crandberry-grape juice.

Hey Rob, I think you really have to cool yourself down with lots of cold drink since you are not living on the ground floor or in the basement at the moment. I fully understand what you mean since I used to live in Canada with weather like this before. It was hot during the summer but in the winter it would be even worse. I once live in a second floor apartment where there was o heat during the night and it was so cold outside that I couldn't sleep during the night. I watched the snow fall but it was the only time I didn't feel that snow fall wasn't pretty at all. The weather really give us a hard time when we have to deal with it with our body temperature. I hope you can drink as much water as you can since it is good for health anyway and cat the same times, it can surely make you feel better in a hot day. I am not sure abut the temperature in your city at the moment and my city was above 33 degree. It is very hot out there and unfortunately I have to go out in a minute to buy some groceries. I can predict that I will be all wet like a bucket in a minute since it is very hot outside and the sun is up high in the sky.Well, I think the world is getting hotter and hotter each day and someday later we will probably become a toast. So, I think I will try to enjoy some toast for the time being before I will become one with such a hot weather in the future.

Some days I would enjoy being in air conditioned buildings. I would venture out early and late to stay out of the midday heat. If out then I would apply suncream and wear a wide brimmed hat. I would drink cool mineral water and not fizzy drinks. On my days off I would go to the beach to enjoy some coastal breezes. I am very keen on traveling and have been to hot places just like that. Cairns and Darwin were challenging in the wet season.

This is the talk of the day even in USA. It is nearing 100 deg F. It is felt higher when we go out because most of the time we are inside AC house. another point here possibly sun is nearer to earth -- i am not sure -- sunlight is there upto 9 pm and it is found difficult to walk outside even at 6 pm. But this is far better than what it is in North India. yes. it is hot, hotter, hottest day by day.

I though that the middle east suppers from the hottest temperatures. On a average the temperature is about 48 degrees celcius and on certain days it even gets in excess of 50 degrees celcius which is never declared. Even today the US is suffering from a heat wave where temperatures have reached 42 degrees celcius. Its getting hotter and hotter day by day. Since 1999 each summer has be hotter that the previous one. Is this a signof global warming? Are we not taking enough care of our environment?

In my city, it is still cool. However, if summer comes, I go out for a picnic or have some sight seeing activity with my family. This is because the wind outside is cool and fresh. Sometimes, I drink cola too but not all the time. I am afraid I become too acidic.

no matter how hot it is outside, it is much better inside my house, unless somedays when the weather is so hot and i feel like im in a sauna, even when i'm inside my house. anyway when the weather is extremely hot, i keep taking showers. and sometimes like you said visit malls and cool my head for sometime! i also eat icecreams and keep complaining about the weather
