When you pray, when you are about to decide for something that might have a huge impact, or might actually change your life... how do you pray? do you ask God for signs on which one, which path should you take? Please share your experiences with us... i believe we all should have our personal relationships with God, this way we know what he is always and constantly trying to tell us.. and not only by asking signs from him whenever we need him to help us....

yes one time, i asked GOd if he wants to give me healing. and i asked a sign. I have been reading this one verse about healing. And i said God give me a sign, that if someone read that verse to me out loud in the place i am choosing. and i would choose the person who should read that verse to me out loud. and yet it happened. i was surprised. i was on my way back home riding this jeepney. And i saw this woman sleepers , wearing a short and ordinary shirt. it seemed this woman is like going to wet market only because her get up does not look good at all. And in my thought, i told God, Please now let that woman in my face read that verse out loud to me. And the moment i have prayed that to God in my thoughts only. immediately the woman took a piece of paper in her bag, then read that verse to me out loud.

wow! this is a very obvious miracle that God is working within us! =) I am glad you are able to share this with us! Bless you always as you remember God is here with us all the time. We just need to be asking the right things, the right questions, etc and we are sure to receive God's blessings.

Our God is a very good God. He knows our hearts desire even before we ask. He is definitely a fabulous Heavenly Father that I ever known. I remembered when I just accept the Lord, I can feel that He was there, always there watching over me. Many things my parents are looking high and low for it, but they can't find them. I prayed and look at the same place, and there it was! They too can't believe their eyes. It is true, it is like miracles! In 2006 onwards, I have abundant blessings from God, he answered almost every prayers or our hearts desires. Sometimes I only asked for simple holiday at a place. And He blessed us with the best holiday anyone could ever asked. He gave us 5 star suite hotel stay with VIP treatments. Even those around us like family and friends just couldn't believe the number of holidays, IT gadgets that we have won. When God Blessed Us, He will Blessed us with the Best. Like the Bible said' "if a child asked his father for bread, would the father give him a stone?'. This verses really come to light and to life. We should always give God all the glory and praises. Give thanks .....

When you pray for something, when you have faith, you do not event ask for the signs. They automatically show up, even in very natural situations. Sometimes we tend to wait for something miraculous to happen that we take for granted the simple things in life. Your spirit must be sensitive to God's voice.

I do that a lot especially when I have to ask a favor from him or need to make a decision. I usually do novenas if I really needed help. When my younger brother doesn't want to go to school anymore because of bad company, I prayed hard and it was given. Though the answer takes time to come, it will be surely answered if it was meant for you.

well, I guess that is one thing that I missed. I didn't ask for signs. Whenever I have problems I only tell him and surrender everything to him. Then I'll do what I want to do. Frankly, I am not prayerful. For my whole life, I just attended a bible study once and it was just very recently. About 3 weeks ago. I enjoyed it so much but it was not repeated due to some reasons. I hope that this weekend i can attend another bible study. During that bible study that we had our leader told me that maybe it was God's sign that I approached her and I agreed with her.

Hello.. :) When I pray, I used to thank Him first, for whatever that had happened in my life. The next thing I used to do is ask for forgiveness from Him for all the wrong doings I did in my life. :) Lastly, I used to ask help from him. I ask signs when I'm torn between two choices and do not know what to choose. God is indeed good. He definitely loves His children. Let us keep our faith in Him. :) Happy mylotting!

Prayers are what conencts us to God, our Father and when he sends us Signs from above, we might or can misinterpret this, but if we do have a relationship with him, we can be assured we can always know what he meant for us. I sure hope everything is well with you. =) thanks for taking time to respond in the discussion, that is appreciated. Best Regards! See you Around and Happy mylotting.

Yes, I ask for God for signs when I decide on things and when I need to choose from one opportunity to another. I pray that the sign God will show or give me will be the one that is best for me and that it is the best for all that will be affected from that decision.

I really wish I felt that God gave me more guidance. I really don't know what he wants me to do with my life and I've never been able to achieve much because people discriminate against me. I think it's partly because I have a Jewish sounding name (that isn't on the official list of Jewish names) and look Jewish (but have no known Jewish ancestry and wasn't raised Jewish) and partly because I'm a nerd (should be officially recognized as a "visible minority" and given legal protection but isn't). I've even been told there was a conspiracy against me but not who was behind it or exactly what they were doing. I probably should pray more than I do. Some people have told me that God can guide me more easily if I'm trying to do things than if I'm just waiting for a sign but I got really fed up with hitting my head against walls. Anyway, I think the need for a sign depends on what God's apparently telling you. You can only act on guidance if you know how to do it and are able to (it's possible that you're able to do something but don't know how - you're probably physically capable of speaking any language but don't know how to speak most of them). You might be able to do research but sometimes that would require a lot of effort and there are some things (e.g. what are UFO's) that nobody knows or where there's a lot of false information and it's difficult to get the truth. You shouldn't do anything that's clearly contrary to the Bible and should seek clear guidance if it's questionable according to the Bible. If it's easy and there's no likely way for it to lead to disaster (and it's consistent with the Bible), you probably should do it even if the guidance is uncertain. If it's difficult (and that includes needing to do a great deal of research to find out how to do it), dangerous (including potential financial ruin) and/or questionably scriptural, you really need to ask for clear guidance.

I do have a personal relationship with God. When I pray I always imagine that He is there beside me listening to what I say. I also aske signs from Him especially if I'm in a difficult situation in making decisions in life. I am so grateful that God gave more than what I prayed for. I always take each event of the day as a blessing from God. Hence, in God we TRUST!

Yes, I do. When I am particularly troubled about something or when I need to decide between two things, I ask God to give me a sign as to which of them to choose. It helped me in a lot of ways because it does develop my faith in HIM. Knowing that these signs are but "guides" for me in my decision making processes, it further cements and enhance my fellowship with Him.

I ask for His help when a problem is difficult. I do ask and look for signs when choices are problematic. But I'm also aware that He is very busy and that He will not give us problems and decisions that are not within the scope of our ability. So, because of this, I don't give Him a "deadline." And when I proceed, I inform Him so that He will not be offended and, perhaps, send help along the way or ahead of me.

I do pray for signs sometimes, and there are instances in which these signs are given and I am often confused if they are signs or merely trials. And oftentimes, stumbling in the end make me think that it could have a been a sign and I was being misled that they were just trials. However, that is also part of how we learn and grow I believe, because we are given the freewill and the gift of choice so we can learn better of which path we have to go to.

when im in trouble or if im so problematic the only thing i do is to pray to ask from him a guidance and wisdom..asking sign is so seldom i do ask that if im so confused .the sign that usually i ask is quite too personal for me that only gods knows that..yes soemtimes it works..one time im so confused and so problematic where to get money to fund my issued check i ask god that he will give clients even if i dont knwo that such persons would truly trust me even if i just meet them i prayed this before leaving the house and at that time i never expected anyone to coem or anyone to pay me...when im half of way to my office someone called me that she needs to pay me in adavance for thier tickets going to south america..then i asked them who referred them to me..they replied its my old client they even mention the name but i dont remember anymore..so when i reach my office they are there waiting for me at first i dont want to accept such money coz they are leaving two months from that time..yet they insisted on because the one who reffered to them telling them to pay right now..and they so nice and kind even its our first time to met..what they give is really more than enough what i need..then i told my self wow god really makes miracles ...God is really good everytime and i know big or small blessing we need to thanks HIM always..god bless..

before, i do pray for signs to help me decide for some complicated things.. however, a friend told me that never ask God of signs because that means you are challenging God.. ever since i heard that, i tried to control myself from asking signs and just decide for myself.. but sometimes, i cant help but to ask signs for times that i dont know what to do anymore..
