President Aquino laid down what is the true condition of the country. His administration, a year old, had unearthed a thousand and one anomalies, and he will do use his power to personally hold accountable those who mismanaged and corrupted the funds of the poor Juan de la Cruz. He enumerated some of the accomplishments that his government had done, like providing water system to a place where water is scarce, or putting electricity ti a place where light is needed, and so on. The president informed every citizen that the country has fund, billions actually, and that we can hope for a better living condition in our own country. The monorail in under study, which probably costs a hundred million per kilometer. When that happens, then transportation wouldn't be difficult any more. And the major cities will be less congested. But the president also calls on each and everyone of us to defend our country when we are called to, and to speak less ill of our own, and encourage our fellow Filipinos by saying Thank You more. By and large, he is telling us, his boss, to please be kind and honest. It is the only way we could prance to progress.

I believe the sona was over rated. there are lot of items discussed that is somewhat impossible to be achieved with in the next year. However there are items discussed in the sona that made me feel better and made me more confident to our country's government.

I never had the chance to watch it but for sure it was a good speech just like every president did. SONA is full of good promises and plans, it was so good to hear. I just hope Pnoy is different, most of his promises is never been done I hope he can still do it all.

Same here, I wasn't able to watch since in the first place I wasn't aware that today was the sona LOL. Anyway, I read an English summary of the sona at gmanews, and it was good somehow and hopefully his administration will do their best to fulfill their promises.
