Okay, You asked for it. You want to know about my scar? I hope anyone that's reading this has a strong stomach, just kidding. I hope You people will share your scars with me once I share mine. 18 months ago the house burnt down. I have a couple of scars to show for it. Oh, It was an electrical fire. So, my scars are 1 frisbee sized burn on my right thigh. I also have a burn scar that wasn't too severe on my right arm, it runs the length of my arm on the inside(where there's no hair). My left arm is burnt the same way as my right only it is more severly scarred. Finally my entire chest was removed(the skin) and grafted back on with skin from my good thigh and my back. I'm basically burned where you would wear a long sleeved shirt, from the neck to the waist. That's a total of 27% of my body, burnt and scarred. That makes for a great scar. So I love things like when people say Burnt To A Cinder. You have to have a sense of humor to survive something like that. Tell me about your scars.

Welcome! I can't imagine having burn scars over 27% of my body. How long were you in the hospital for. My guess is a month. Having all those surgery grafts must have been painful. Sounds like you took it well. I bet at first you weren't so positive about life. I think I would've needed more then a good sense of humor to survive those burns and all the questions regarding your scars. Best Wishes!

Yes, thank you. At first it was difficult to deal with and i was in the hospital for 11 weeks. Every says "you got burned" to me but I'm wearing long sleeves in Arizona in the summer. You can't tell if I wear a long sleeved shirt.

Long sleeves in Arizona, I feel bad for you. That has to be hot. I bet you have to where long sleeves to keep you skin out of the sun. Keep up your positive attitude. Best Wishes!

You are one tough person. I admire you for not being embarrassed to share your scars and to have that courage as well. And you still find humor in that too! I would have gone into depression if it were me maybe. And that would have been very traumatic.

Wow! I am glad you have a sense of humor about it all, I think it takes a lot of courage to be able to do that, I'm glad you're okay now though, or hope you are. I have scars but not nearly like yours. I have scars on knee from when I fell when I was little, on a bike. I also have a scar on my right thumb from where I cut myself doing the dishes one time. I don't have a scar (not that I know of) on my lip, but I had to have stitches there when I was little and fell down stairs.

I got my scar when I asked my dad to remove the puss in my boil. It was like 2 boils and they looked like eyes. Since they hurt, I asked my dad to remove them. He did but it wasn't done correctly. As time passed, the skin around it smoothed buy 2 scars were left. This was way back when I was in 6th grade and I'm currently 26. Lol!
