i hate the phone ringing. i mean, i hate it!!!!!!!! i work as a receptionist for a large company,and i do accounts work as well, and i love my job. i like where i work. i like the people i work for.. my day, is a breeze, and i enjoy it. but i.hate.the.phone.ringing!!!!!!! it drives me insane, it won't ring for about 3 or 4 hours, then bam, 4 and 5 calls come through at once! and it's the most annoying noise, and it doesn't stop! because even when you answer one call, the other 3 morons that are phone, are still ringing, so you can still hear the phone ringing faintly through the machine. it's actually got so bad that i very seldom actually take my own mobile off silent, because i just can't stand the sound of it ringing. my mobile doesn't actually ring, i hate a ring tone, i think it's lady antebellum - need you now, but its still something ringing that needs answered! sometimes when it gets really busy in work, and the phone is ringing and ringing and ringing constantly, i can literally feel the tears burning in the back of my eyes! and by the time i answer the phone, i'm that angry i don't even want to speak to whoever is on the phone lol! does anyone else work where they have to answer a phone? and how does it make you feel?
