Lies in the internet. "love"

In 1997 I was checking my account in hot mail, and suddenly I see an invitation request, I felt like not accept it but then I felt curious and I accepted, that was a young man who acted at the beginning like he didn't knows who me, he said he just saw the email and he didn't know if that was a woman or a man,well we began to chat every single day, he told me that he was so lonely, that he had a girlfriend, and she suicided herself , because of this he got in a depression, I felt empathy for him and he for me, by the time we became in a relationship even thought we were never saw each other just by pictures, soon he asked me to marry him I felt very happy, then he asked to get everything ready for him when he gets to my country to meet me and marry me, I did it, but there was always something that was bothering me, he never was able to put the cam on so I never saw his real face, he always had a story or excuse, besides always told me dates to go to my country but that never honor his word, he always had a new story, like " oh my love I am sorry, but my boss didn't give the permission to flight" and always something new, at the end I understood that he was a lier and never had the intention to marry me, or at least meet me. So I don't believe a lot on love in the internet.

Yes. Internet is good up to chatting. It is better to meet face to face before getting involved emotionally.

Yes. I do believe that it is possible to fall in love through internet. But in the net generally only the better part of picture is presented. Many other important traits are not visible.

The thought that he can't even show his real face thru cam is already a sign of cheating.
Never trust someone who cannot show their real face on the net.
I have a friend who met her love from the net and the guy already come here in our country to met my friend.
Now they are planning to have a family the next time he come.
Thu most people on the net are fake and only doing/using the net for fun,there are also true ones and true love affair that ends well.
I also have a neighbor who got married last year from a guy she just met from online.
Now they are happily married and living abroad and they are here having some vacation.
