Right now I am very unhappy with Frontier Airlines

I am at the airport in Austin waiting to fly to Denver. I am flying Frontier for the first time. I paid for a classic Coach Plus ticket but I have been put in coach. There is quite a difference in price. I am trying to inform Frontier personnel but they are only available when a plane departs or arrives and then they are very busy. There is no one at the desk and no one has been at the desk for over an hour. I have paid maybe $60 more for Classic Coach Plus and I am only getting coach services. And the services are quite different than what I should be getting.

What a complete rip off. No traveler minds being upgraded but not one will be happy with being downgraded. There is quite a difference in price and you were treated unfairly. You should write and complain to Frontier Airlines. Good luck getting a $60 refund.

Thanks for your feedback. A lot of the problem was my own doing. I had never flown Frontier before and did not understand the different classes. I did not need the class that I chose. The flight was great. I sm going to live with the loss. I did pick a seat when I bought my ticket for going home so I will have the stretch seating. But, again I did not need the class of ticket that I bought.

I can understand the disappointing service. I had not taken Frontier Airlines so far. Is this a Texas based airline ? Does it fly many flights daily out of Austin ? I suppose it would be good to report to the management what you are going through.

Frontier is a budget airline.based in Denver but offers frequent service between Austin and Denver. See my comments to the others. Most of the problem was my own newness to Frontier. I did not understand the options that Frontier offered and I chose one that was not what I needed.

I understand that the government is making a lot of airlines pay up for overcharging people. I hope you get it straightened out. Customer service no longer exists, so far as I can tell.

I agree. Customer service is a thing of the past but I was somewhat to blame for my situation. See my comment in the box above. This was my first. time flying Frontier and I did not understand the different options. I did not need Classic Coach Plus.
