Hello MYLOTTERS, Today i am upset due to my grand mother who has just came in here to live with us before that she was living in village with my Uncle. She always had her choice to live in village as she never liked city life. She had already been here for so many times but never stayed with us for more than 10 days as far as i remember. And this time it was a compulsion that she is forced to stay with us becuase she is now suffering with "HERPES" all over her body. She came here just 3 days back my Mom took her to a good skin specialist here and had her full check up.Doctor has given her the medicines for a week and told that she will recover soon provided she takes her medicines properly. But today as she is 80+ years old she also lost her mental balance also she was just fearing with the shadows of ours. She was saying that someone is standing behind the door and asking for food but when saw no body was there. Whole night she did not sleep and today morning she was just crying as what is happening to her. We all were also crying to see her situation but are in suprise how this happened to her in just one night. We have fixed the appointment with the psychiatrist to get her checked up and waiting for waht he says i feel it is due to the medicines she is taking for "HERPES". May be the side effect??? But still i am so much worried about her as so many people who came at our house to meet her said she now has very less time left so its better to take care of her if you can. Hope she will get fine soon.

Do not worry, she will be fine buddy.Try to give her some time.Take her to some places in city which are similar to village likes botanical garden. Most important thing is that do not let feel that she is lonely and always talk with her. Hope everything will be ok.

Hello Dabang, Welcome to MYLOT. I also feel it so we are not leaving her alone so that she may not feel upset. I know when she gets alone her imagination gets started and she gets feared.

Personally there could be a lot of reasons for everything that is going on. It could be from the medication, it could be from being in a home maybe she does not feel the most comfortable in, it could be because of age. Personally I would be finding ways to make her feel more comfortable to like somewhere she is familiar with and offer help and guidance as you can. Wishing you the Best in getting her the help she might be needing now.

Sound so awful , I would also be crying if I was in that situation . I have seen my brother drop after I tell him not to and I couldn't stop crying because he was bleeding and we were only children. Even when I am grown and I see my family members arguing , I sometimes start to cry .
