Looney Tunes the new series is rude and obnoxious

I started watching Looney Toons on the Cartoon Network because I thought it was the classic cartoons. Those were funny and made you laugh. This new Looney Toons is rude. On the preview for the show it says "I didn't say you were stupid just that you look stupid." Personally, I find that remark insulting. It teaches kids to be mean and say hurtful things to other kids. I put it on this morning to watch a little of it with my son. He wasn't interested in it and I was repulsed by how rude and obnoxious they made the characters.

Another topic today that my husband and I were just talking about. We love the old versions of loony toons and then the favorite Tom and Jerry. The old ones though they seemed a bit mean with things dropping on them they certainly did not act like they do in their newer version. I don't understand why they would even allow this on tv for kids to watch, it's more like for adults. I watch very closly what mine watch. Like I won't let the 4 year old watch Sponge Bob Square Pants. THAT show is bad too.

My son isn't allowed to watch Spongebob here. We consider it a bad influence. I watched one episode with my son and they were cussing at each other, calling each other names and spitting at each other. My hubby and I don't want our son modeling that kind of behavior. I don't feel that it should be a kid's cartoon.

I actually have never watched cartoons. When I was a kid, my brothers watch them all the time. I thought they were dumb then. Sounds like they are even worse now. Best Wishes!

you are right.. things are getting stupid with the characters right now..it is preferable for kids to watch fairy tails, dora the explorer and other cartoons like phineas and ferb.. as a child, you may not think of it as bad but as a grown up, the scenes are rude.. that is where the child learns to bully or be the coward character..
