Why do parents always say that a nanny would be far too expensive? But when you want to be a nanny, it says: Then you earn hardly anything.

It's a cath 22 if you ask me. My husband is a nanny and does not make enough money to carry us and our bills and the people he sits for are hurting for paying him. It is a necessary evil it seems since both parents MUST work or they will have nothing. Now in some cases it is better for the mom to stay at home and take care of the kids as she would not make much more money after all is taken out and then given to the nanny. It is a very difficult decision to make I can tell you. I would prefer and I am sure there are a lot of people out there that would to, stay at home with their kids. It's a tear jerker I tell you what.
