Friend Damaged my Macbook

Hi! Recently, my friend accidentally spilled coffee on my macbook. Of course, since it's his fault, he'll have to pay for it. We both agreed on that. So, I took him to the macstore, and together, we surrendered my macbook to the repairs. I was then told a few weeks after that the whole cost for repairs will amount to P19000, which is around USD380. How do I confront him, knowing that it's his fault and yet still remaining polite/non-bullying about it?

Seriously, a Macbook is a Macbook. Since he agreed to pay for it, he should already be expecting from you the bill for the repair. On his part, there is no other way for him to try to get out of this mess. To be polite or non bullying, I guess you can just tell him how much you need to get your Macbook back, especially if you use this for your work/school activities. He should have already understand your predicament, his accident not only caused you stress on having the macbook repaired, also knowing that your unit is not anymore in its "mint condition" so to speak, bit lowering its value as well...
