This is a very big problem of our society, for we are predominantly male in nature it started even in the Holy books like Bible, Quran, etc... The male was always dominant even in the laws of most countries its male dominated so as when you look at the law its always the woman who have sin and not the men. On your premise surely when that happens the woman is at a losing side. Though the men will get hurt but the woman will still pay the price, now what if the man did it? Well, its part of the society then there would lots of talks and lots of blames... again to the woman. lol

I could not take that, just thinking my wife cheats on me is way out of comprehension.

Hi Whengcat! Personally I do not think cheating out of revenge does any good as at times there are some serious consequences after a person is cheated on. Even if the person cheated on is a cheater I don't think they will take kind of it being done to them. Sad but I think that if a woman cheated on her husband, there will be some husband's who perhaps may take revenge and the woman may end up hurt. Sadly in this day and age some people do not just walk away, they hurt people today. Personally I think that a caring person, no matter if they cheated themselves will still hurt no matter what. They may not say they are hurt but it really has to hurt.

It would hurt. If they really care for a girl, they will treasure her for all their life! If its not meant to be then don't go and cheat on someone. Let them go! It will be a lot better than going and sneaking around there back. In the end if the you just tell someone your not feeling it anymore it can save a lot of damage!
