I completely agree with you. Reaching the payout is really difficult - the reason? Shvoong pays so very less, it is only 10% of the earnings. How bad this is. I think it might be only site, that pays so low. I think, it is a review and summery type site and no original content is required there. The payout is $10. That is why I feel the site pays so less. There is no creative thinking and the site expects only a summery. I have been a member there since May 2007 and yet there is no progress in my earnings. Yes, I accept that I am not that active there for all these years. But the concept and the percentage is gives to writers itself puts me off. I don't know what to do with the articles there. I have around 80 summaries written there.

They are mainly in Hungarian, but you can see how many visits they have.. :) Just check out my english language reviews as well. I do not know how long you have been a member on Shvoong. If you have 150 visitors IN a month you got about 0.15-0.25$ But if you got 4-5 visitors for a given review/month you get nothning.. You need to reach minimum 8-15 visits for a review/month for getting paid.. At the moment I got about 25 000- 30 000 visits altogether on Shvoong in a month. Honestly speaking, I have no right to advice, but if you ask me, I would never recommend this site to anyone. You can try somewhere else but it is difficult to earn from Shvoong. It shares only 10% of the revenue. I think, I have wasted a lot of time and articles there. I have 80 summaries there. I could have better used them at a different site.

i guess that your effort is less... how come you can get a bigger payment if you never work hard??

There are some sites out there that are not too harsh on the grammar as long as you are writing good thoughts and content. Why don't you try such writing sites? But I feel mylot is liberal on the grammar issue. That is why people like this site a lot. It gives you the opportunity to express yourself, write, earn and improve yourself as well.

@zhawee: I think grammar is a thing that could be better and better if we are trying hard.. :) These kind of review sites are great because we can get immediately feedback. And the old rule is valid here as well: the more we practice the better we can write! :( just keep it on, I am sure you will be successful! :)
