Life is so hard with a chronic disease. dont get me wrong i am SOO grateful that I don't have cancer, which scares the hell out of me. I have factor 5 deficiency, which means I am missing clotting factor number 5. It wasn't a problem until I started menstruation. The first period lasted 11 days and didnt stop without a fresh frozen plasma transfusion. I mean, as a child every fall and eery dentist visit was accompanied by a transfusion of plasma to control bleeding..but now my periods are sooo heay. I almost died a couple of times from blood loss. It sucks..
