I heard some people recommended, Opera Mini app really help in reduce data consumption with our cellphones, like Iphone, and smartphone. Does anyone has experience with using Opera mini to browse web on their cell? Is it really that useful and actually better than other cellphone browser? As you may know, those service providers like AT&T, T-Mobile, really put a cap on data usage on their service, except Sprint still allow unlimited data. If you still like what you have, I think Opera mini could be the one that help reduce the data consumption by 90%.

I recommend Opera mini too. I have installed it in my phone too. It really reduces data consumption and it is faster in browsing and surfing the web. Try it it's nice.

Opera Mini is a great mobile browser. It can connect in the internet for free also if you knew how to do it. It gives a good internet response and user friendly software. I think it does not reduce your data consumption, it really depends on the website and the things you have downloaded in your phone.

Any web browser on any smart phone is going to be the number data eater regardless of your carrier. So the key is how often do you browse the web, and what do you gain by downloading a third-party app for web browsing? You have to think about the overall picture. You loose more than you gain. You may be able to use less data using Opera Mini, but the same can be said also by browsing less. Because it eats your battery. Also what you browse factors in as well. Don't forget about things. Like what do you use the web for? do you read the news, do you watch video or download music? What you do effects data consumption too.
