Divorce

People get married way too quickly without really knowing each other too well. There have been times where people have been dating each other as little as a few months and then they rush into marriage. That is just a recipe of disaster. You really don't know each other all that well and there are a lot of things that are just need to be hashed out before marriage. Also I think that the economy does play no small part. Money or lack there of can make people a bit agitated under the best circumstances. However with the economy the way it is in this day and age, there are a lot of people who are really railing on each other for various reasons. Still society seems to pushing people together too quickly and it causes any number of difficulties. Thus the increase of the divorce rate.

I think because people get married for the wrong reasons.They don't really think about what they are getting into like getting married because you think it will make others happy.
