Should I call there and ask again, or rather not?

Two weeks ago I had a job interview for a part time job as a temp. The interview went well and I sat down with the boss, with whom I had the conversation, even very well understood. At the end she said she would call me early next week and inform me of their decision that was on a Thursday. So I've been waiting so then on the next Monday, but she did not call. Tuesday and not until today it has still not reported, nearly a week late. My mother thinks I should call tomorrow for sure and you ask me. But I fear that when I call because I annoy you or something, because I guess they had a reason why she has not called back or? Would you call tomorrow or wait still?

Just ask them again, from what I gather you haven't called them back even once right? so they have no reason to feel annoyed unless you called them like three times asking the same thing. The others are right, there are a number of reasons why they haven't called back and you won't really lose anything by calling them back since if you don't get the job you'll never see them again anyway. They might also appreciate you calling back since it shows that you have a genuine interest in that job (well its either that or your really desperate! :)

I agree with sphiztic completely! Calling everyday would be annoying, calling once isnt. It shows a lot about you - initiative and interest in the job. They promised a call a while ago. What is the worst that is going to happen? They might tell you that they decided not to hire you, but then at least you would know and could continue looking for something else! Good luck with your job search, even if this job doesnt work out, I hope you find something soon!! Dont be afraid to be assertive, many employers like that. Dont stress so much about what other people are telling you to do, go with your gut!

Some job interviewers/HR doesn't tell someone directly that they are not hired, it's just an alibi for them to say "ill call you". OR they lost your contact.I'm a bit worried for until now they haven't call you. I think the best thing to do is to call them and asked how was your application, just be soft spoken. They will not get irritated if you only aked once. Or you may visit the office. Go for it! :)

I think that every interviewee should have a job offer or a follow up discussion. If I was you I would call them and ask for follow up from the interview that you attended. Then you are likely to be given advise for future interviews. I once went to an interview and then heard nothing. Funnily enough my supply teaching agency that I had been working for sent me to that job. I liked it since the day rate was one hundred and twenty pounds a day. I loved teaching that Year One class. Good luck.

Call or even go there again even over. If it annoys you, then they would not hire you anyway. But if you show that you're persistent and you have to rely on their word, then she sees that you are serious about it and you can rely on you. Do not worry, you can only win. Draw attention to you and call you where in memory. Good luck!

If you do not call, you acknowledge your lack of interest in the job. Nevertheless, the head of no interest to you, otherwise they would have long since been reported. The next time you should set a deadline for the talks. Are you going on .... Report about 14.00 clock with me? I have to .... recorded / flagged, thanks.

Hi Dayang! Yes, you may call them just to make sure you get the job or not. Sometimes we may know when the employer did not call us on the date they promised or said before there is probability the answer is no but just for your assurance you may call them to get the answer regarding your job application.(^^)

You should call and even ask you depending on where you've applied for you it may even be that the call has gone down and they have just forgotten it because of stress, the call to give you security. Besides, if they then tell you that you were taken you have to apply no longer elsewhere.

Reputation, in any event. If the job is given to someone else, you may still be there no matter what keep the woman of you. And if you just forget it, you can quietly remind them that she owes you a call back. Who knows, maybe even still been no decision. Then it is advantageous if you do bring to mind. It's annoying, but rather shows your interest.

I think your mother is right. Your calling will not annoy them. Whether you got the job or not at least you are showing them how interested you are.
