DO YOU WANT TO KNOW ABOUT BLACK HOLE???? BLACK HOLE!!!!!!!! BLACK HOLE is the last stage of stars. sometimes after supernova(last stage of stars),the core that remains is so massive that nothing can support its gravity. it collapses into itself and becomes a black hole.gravity is so strong in a black hole that nothing-not even light- can escape. TYPES OF BLACK HOLE!!!!!!!! the are 3 types of black hole. they are :- 1. stellar black hole 2. super massive black hole 3. miniature black hole SCIENTISTS say that time travel is possible through black hole!!! as its sowers the time!!!!! Hope you enjoyed it!

Hello, you call black holes (if they even exist) the cleaner of space, this is due to there gravitational pull . A black hole is a region of space from which nothing, not even light, can escape. The theory of general relativity predicts that a sufficiently compact mass will deform spacetime to form a black hole. Around a black hole there is a mathematically defined surface called an event horizon that marks the point of no return. It is called "black" because it absorbs all the light that hits the horizon, reflecting nothing, just like a perfect black body in thermodynamics.Quantum mechanics predicts that black holes emit radiation like a black body with a finite temperature. This temperature is inversely proportional to the mass of the black hole, making it difficult to observe this radiation for black holes of stellar mass or greater. Objects whose gravity field is too strong for light to escape were first considered in the 18th century by John Michell and Pierre-Simon Laplace. The first modern solution of general relativity containing a black hole was found by Karl Schwarzschild in 1916, although its interpretation as a region of space from which nothing can escape was not fully appreciated for another four decades. Long considered a mathematical curiosity, it was during the 1960s that theoretical work showed black holes were a generic prediction of general relativity. The discovery of neutron stars sparked interest in gravitationally collapsed compact objects as a possible astrophysical reality. Black holes of stellar mass are expected to form when heavy stars collapse in a supernova at the end of their life cycle. After a black hole has formed it can continue to grow by absorbing mass from its surroundings. By absorbing other stars and merging with other black holes, supermassive black holes of millions of solar masses may be formed. Despite its invisible interior, the presence of a black hole can be inferred through its interaction with other matter. Astronomers have identified numerous stellar black hole candidates in binary systems, by studying their interaction with their companion stars. There is growing consensus that supermassive black holes exist in the centers of most galaxies. In particular, there is strong evidence of a black hole of more than 4 million solar masses at the center of our Milky Way.

I think it's just a possibility, that the black hole can be used to explore the time. Indeed the universe is very diverse, and many have not touched something more interesting.

You are right, No one till now tried about this.., I think scientists are now trying to find some future machine. I saw something about that in Youtube.

Black holes rotate and can explode to like other stars is what scientist also conceive. At present there has not been enough technological advance to consider entering even the event horizon of a black hole and returning back to tell the tale. Actual black holes have not yet been found, the locations of few are conjecture based on observation of behavior of celestial bodies in the area where scientists think black holes are likely to be present.

but according to Discovery Channel... there are still much more powerful monster compare to black holes.... 1. White Dwarf (the least powerful) 2. Black Holes (powerful than white dwarf) 3. Pulsars (more powerful than a black hole) 4. Quasars (more powerful than a pulsars) Note: White Dwarf although less powerful than a black hole, white dwarf can be seen because light can manage to escape... Pulsars are powerful 100 times than a black hole and the most powerful of all are the Quasars, they are the galaxy eaters... Information taken from Discovery Channel topic: Monsters of the Universe

no tarachand!., black hole are formed from stars. and blackhole do not explode. they just fade away... blackholes are not like jupiters. jupiter has a small core.. several gases came together because gases pulled them together.... jupiter can be seeen but blackhole can be seen.so you cannot compare blackhole's gravity with jupiter's gravity.... if black hole is like jupiter it woulld have sucked the earth with it... pulsars can be seen but blackhole can be seen. as black hole even does not allow light to go away from him. so pulsars do not have strong gravity like blackhole's gravity. THERE IS NO OBJECT IN SPACE WHICH HAS GRAVITY STRONGER THAN BALCKHOLE. BLACKHOLE WIIL SUCK ANYTHING THAT COMES NEAR IT!!!

i don't really want to know about the blackhole.. probably because i don't know what it is, and secondly because this still didn't really explain what it is anyway.. but thanks..

Hello,i heard about this!!Most important thing it slows time!!it slows time because of the pull of gravity!!Where there is more gravity, time slows more..because Gravity has the power to pull even time!!!AS u said there are different types of black hole!! But i really like super massive black hole!!Black hole also have the capacity to suck any object that comes near it!!then it emits radiations..this radiations has been invented by stephen hawking!!So it is called stephen hawking Radiation!! Happy mylotting!!!

I enjoyed it in the sense at times it strikes terror i and awe in me.Other than the fact that there are so many black holes, the redeeming feature appears to be that faster time travel is possible through these black holes or worm holes. It would be great if we could go a few thousand years forward or to places which the present mode of space travel makes it impossible to do so.But the prospect of being sucked into a black hole and losing a star with its planets around it is quite scary.

if a dying star is a Supernova, then it will became a White Dwarf... but if a dying star is a Hypernova, then it will become a Black Hole... like our Sun (Star) are belong to a small sized star and when depleted it's nuclear energy it will soon become a white dwarf and not a black hole.

sun can also be a blackhole if its gravitational radius becomes smaller than its original radius. its gravitational radius is 2.5 km. if its original radius becomes lesser than gravitational radius it will become a blackhole.. blackhole is not only for stars it is also for every object in the universe... earth can also become a blackhole. its gravitational radius is 1 cm. if earth's radius becomes smaller than gravitational radius. then it will become a blackhole...
