You sent me What?

The other day a good friend of mine here at myLot was discussing music and the group Apocalyptica can up. I hadn't heard this music in quite some time so I asked her is she could send me some. Guess what? She did. and It was some of the best new music that I have heard in a while. It's not that it's new, but it's kind of new to me and it's good. It rocks.
I'm really glad that she sent this to me.
Has anyone on mylot sent you any music? Did you enjoy it or was it cr@p?

I'm really big into Blues & Jazz with an occasional Classic Rock thrown in just for the fun of it!!! Back when I first joined myLot, I did a discussion asking "Who's your favorite Blues or Jazz artist & what is it you like most about them?" Then I checked out every one I hadn't ever heard of & I found some really GREAT music!!! 
I grew up adoring the Beatles & thought I knew ALL their songs...that is until I did a discussion asking members to name their top 3 Beatles songs & why they liked them so much. I don't know if it's their passion for their fave song that rubbed off or if I was just in the right frame of mind to love what they suggested??? 
I was reminded of some songs that I had forgotten that the Beatles did & enjoyed going back & listening to them!!! 
One of my other favorite ways to listen to some good music is to go to youtube & type in one of my once favorite artists & then do the "link hop" from one song to another. Before the day is over, I have been listening to several obscure artists that are really talented & might not even have an album out yet!!! That is most definitely one of my most favorite ways to listen to music without concentrating on any particular artist or genre!!!

No, I have never received anything from mylot friends since I joined mylot about a year ago. I think it will be nice if we have a platform to share what we like in mylot. It should be like a space where we can upload things like music or photos that we would like to share with someone that we wanted to share. Just like what we can do with IM.

i haven't had anyone send me music as such. i have had people suggest music for me to download on mylot tho :)

I'm new to mylot and no one yet sent me some music, but receiving one is highly appreciated, The one who sent you that music is nice, and you must be feel flattered and overwhelmed.
