You don't realize how much you use!

We didn't have water for a few days and I didn't realize how much water I used. I realized that I couldn't wash dishes, wash my face, brush my teeth with water to rinse, take a shower or bath, cook certain foods, wash my clothes.

as the song goes.. "You don't miss your water till the well runs dry." Most of the things we use that are just a hand away, we take them for granted, thinking there are a lot of supply for it. Just like water, but then if it's gone, we can't do most of the things we need to do. We can't clean the house, wash the dishes, take a bathe, wash our teeth, make our toilets... cook food, make tea... Almost everything stops when the water supply is gone. It is very depressing. I experienced having no water supply for a day and that drove me crazy.

We finally got our water back on so I am going to take a bath or shower soon. I am so happy because I think the worst was not being able to take a bath or shower. I feel so much better when I get out and feel clean that I missed it. I also missed washing clothe, our clothes are backed up now and have A LOT dirty so I will need to do some washing clothes now.

Well it's really too bad to have no water to use.Sometimes we are wasting water when it's abundant and soon realize if we have only little water to use.I used too much water for bathing but if there's only little water available I can just bath with a pail of water.I can't imagine living in Africa where there is no enough and safe water to use.We should be thankful and use our water wisely even if it's abundant.
