God forbid the story of this movie comes to real life. But with the technologically advance cyber world we are enjoying now, this is definitely not far fetched. Eagle Eye tells the story of two ordinary people utilized by Eagle Eye, seemingly to eradicate the seat of power in the United States of America and the corresponding form of government that democracy upholds. Jerry is a xerox machine copy boy and Rachel is a paralegal single mom. Together, they obey instructions by Eagle Eye, under the severe penalty of death, not knowing that they were about to eradicate the federal government by which Eagle Eye is supposed to serve. If I am a movie critic, I will award this movie two thumbs up, for precision and high action, plus two stars for mentioning Loki and Thor in the beginning. My challenge is: breathe through the labyrinth!

I am not into sci-fi either, but this flick is action packed. I was intrigued by the teaser and the Shia starrer.

I researched this a little bit first. Is this the movie with Shia LaBoeuf in it? I haven't seen it and the movie was couple years old.

If you like some hyper action, this would do... Shia does make his roles believable.

This is a good flick indeed. The way technology is progressing nowadays it seems nothing is impossible anymore. It would be really freaky if things like this happen in real life. No privacy anymore and anybody could be in imminent danger. Shia Labeouf did a good job in this film :)

I second the motion. I think I will secure a copy of Transformers, too. It has good reviews and I missed it. Actually, I was not as keen watching it because the first installment did not appeal to me.

I have not seen this movie, but it sounds like it could come true someday. It would not be good for any country let alone the US. We have enough troubles as it is!

It is indeed a troublesome world, but yes, we can do without this cyber intelligence. It can make humankind nuts!
